Unearthed Comics is a cartoon resource about our life here on Earth by female cartoonist, Sara Zimmerman, with help and ideas from her husband, Rob Zimmerman. Unearthed Comics are internet cartoons inspired from observing the world around us, which include science, business, relationship, environmental, parenting, health, marketing, internet, and yoga humor. As of 2018, Unearthed Comics is taking an indefinite hiatus, however our comics can be found circulating the internet on different social media platforms.

Terms of Use

  • Copyright is maintained by Sara Zimmerman for all Unearthed Comics.
  • Creative Commons License: Unearthed Comics by Sara Zimmerman is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Unported License.
  • You can share our comics on a website or on your social networks for free, but you must credit it to Unearthed Comics.
  • You can translate our comics as long as the meaning is the same and our copyright information remains.
  • You cannot make any money off of our comics by reprinting them anywhere without a license.
  • You cannot print our comics in a book, newsletter or magazine OR use our comics off of the web, such as a presentation, without a license.
  • Teachers: you have free permission to use our comics in free presentations to your students. Just grab the comics off of our site and use them in your Powerpoint or Keynote presentation, making mention of Unearthed Comics along the way. If you want to buy a book or some merchandise to help us out, please do.

How to Share Digitally

Unearthed Comics are free to share digitally on your blog, eNewsletter, website, or social media as long as you credit Unearthed Comics and are not making any money off of the comics themselves.

Printing & Licensing Comics

  • All printed reproductions of Unearthed Comics MUST have written permission from Sara Zimmerman.
  • If you would like to print a comic in a book, printed newsletter or magazine, use it in a presentation, or make some money off of reproducing our comics, then you need to purchase a license. Contact us to do so.
