Finding voice is one thing, but speaking up is another. I’ve practiced for years trying to find my voice through my art. It is a pain-staking process that requires a lot of criticism and self-doubt. And each new piece challenges me again and again. But through that practice, I have become comfortable with accepting that I will make many mistakes, and out of it, have become ready with the next step of diving head-first into the world of speaking my voice. And boy is it scary! Yet, it is also very rewarding.
Summer challenge: where are you holding back? What do you want to say or do? What would you say or do if you weren’t scared? How can you apply this to your business or your art?
